Berkeley Hyundai — Service Manager / General Manager

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Service Manager to manage our dealership's service operations. The candidate will be responsible for workshop performance, customer satisfaction, technician productivity, service quality, and achieving departmental targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the service workshop.
- Ensure high-quality and timely vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Monitor workshop productivity, technician efficiency, and bay utilization.
- Achieve service revenue, labour, parts, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor service advisors, technicians, and workshop staff.
- Ensure proper diagnosis and quality control of vehicles.
- Maintain service standards, processes, safety, and housekeeping.




- Coordinate with the Parts, Sales, Warranty, and Customer Relations teams.
- Monitor repeat repairs, warranty claims, and service quality.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Train, motivate, and develop the service team.
- Ensure compliance with company and dealership policies.

Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an automobile service/workshop management role.
- Experience in an automobile dealership or authorized service centre preferred.
- Strong knowledge of workshop operations, vehicle servicing, and repair processes.
- Good leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve revenue and operational targets.
- Knowledge of DMS/workshop management software will be an advantage.
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
