Role Description This is a full time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Mumbai.

The Service

Engineer will install, commission, and configure analytical instruments and scientific equipment at client locations.

Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring minimal equipment downtime. The role involves responding to service calls, providing technical support and user training, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal teams and manufacturers for complex issues.

Engineer will also maintain service records,



follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to customer satisfaction through clear communication and reliable service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for analytical instruments and scientific equipment.
- Candidates should possess field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess technical support capabilities, including handling service requests, resolving user issues, and providing basic training.
- Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills, including preventive maintenance, calibration, and component-level repairs.
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related engineering field is preferred.
- Experience working with analytical instruments or laboratory equipment in industrial or research environments is an advantage.
- Ability to travel to client sites within Mumbai and occasionally to other regions, and to work independently with a customer-focused approach.
