Role Description The Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for ensuring reliable operation and performance of Simple Energy electric scooters. This role involves diagnosing technical issues, performing routine and corrective maintenance, and carrying out repairs on vehicles and related components.

The Service

Engineer will provide field service and technical support to customers and service partners, document service activities, and escalate complex issues to engineering or product teams as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting inspections, testing systems, updating firmware or software where applicable,



and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also requires clear communication with customers, training users or junior technicians on proper usage and maintenance, and contributing feedback to improve products and service processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess field service and customer-facing experience, including on-site support and coordination with service partners.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess technical support capabilities, including handling service requests, documenting issues, and providing guidance on product use.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, with strong attention to detail.
