In this role, the incumbent willrequire excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle the transaction flow, provide direction, and coordinate Order & Cash& Order managementfunctions to ensuretimelyclosure & delivery. The incumbent willbe responsible fordailysupervision and efficiency of the team. Manage and provide overall direction and guidance to deliver operational goals within assigned areas and ensuretimelyandaccuratecompletion of work with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Should have managedlarge sizedInvoice to Cash Teams for a meaningful period andpossessexcellent domain & hands onexpertisein Invoice to Cash (Billing, Collections, Cash Applications & Factoring)and Order Management with experience in Leading transition from Global Markets
Responsibilities
- Ensure Invoice to Cash activities are performed according to agreed Service Standards and Customer Experience
- Work closely with other Accounts Departments to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for appropriately and accurately
- Ensure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders – communicate on a regular basis to discuss operational issues, key metrics,
CTQ’s (internally &/or externally)
- Review andanalyzethe team’s output forappropriate processtreatment, completeness and accuracy related to Order to Cash
- Understand the SOX Regulations andalways ensure adherence by the teams
- Act as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issuesin a timely mannerand ensure all queries aredealt withaccurately and efficiently
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to systems or other processes to maximize the use of information system resources to develop comprehensive reporting models
- Provideday-to-daymanagement of thecross-functionalteam in assigning andmonitoringdeliverables, and inspiring and leading the teams to improve performance and work product
- Develop the team through effective performance management and monthly appraisals
- The scope of the Order Management function would start from activities/processes starting from Order Receipt, Order Entry, Resolving Blocks, Order Fulfillment which includes interactions with the 3PLs, Plants/Distribution Centers, Inventory Controllers, Managing Customer Communications to handle expedites, changes, balancing queries/complaints/critical issues and managing Returns Authorization process, and its broader interactions with the Physical Supply Chain.
- The function wouldbe responsible forbuilding industry leading capabilitiesutilizingour deep domainexpertiseand Lean Digital capabilities to drive transformative Customer Experience for clients’ customers anddeliverycommercial business value.
- The function wouldbe responsible fordriving customer conversations in this area, driving structure toclients’problemsand delivering transformation solutions thereby driving revenue growth.
- The function would alsobe responsible forevangelizing our capabilities in this area both internally and externally with clients, advisors, analysts through participating in conferences, writing thought leadership articles andparticipatingat conferences.
- While the role will focus on driving OM across verticals, we doanticipatea special focus within the CPG/ Life Sciences industry sector.
