We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Stylist to join our salon team. The Senior Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services, understanding client requirements, recommending suitable styles and treatments, and maintaining premium service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional haircuts, styling, blow-dry and finishing services.
- Provide hair colouring, highlights, balayage and other colour services.
- Perform hair spa, smoothening, straightening and other hair treatments as per salon standards.
- Conduct client consultations and recommend suitable hairstyles, colours and treatments.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
- Handle bridal, party and special-occasion hairstyling when required.
- Keep updated with current hair trends, techniques and products.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and proper care of salon equipment and workstations.
- Recommend appropriate professional hair-care products to clients.
- Support junior stylists through guidance, demonstrations and on-the-job training.
- Assist the salon manager in maintaining service quality and operational standards.
- Build robust relationships with existing clients and encourage repeat visits.
- Follow salon policies, grooming standards and service procedures.
- Contribute towards achieving individual and salon sales and service targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional salon experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of modern haircutting and styling techniques.
- Good knowledge of hair colouring and chemical treatments.
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills.
- Ability to understand different hair types and recommend appropriate services.
- Good product knowledge.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and attend brand/salon training.
