Job Responsibilities:

1. System Design:

- Design and develop solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted), including layout, structure, and electrical design.

- Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and load calculations to optimize solar system performance.

- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), layouts, and detailed project designs using AutoCAD or similar tools.

- Select appropriate solar panels, inverters, and other equipment based on technical and financial analysis.

1. Technical Analysis:

- Perform energy yield assessments using simulation software like PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar tools.

- Calculate energy production and financial returns based on local climate, system size, and configuration.

- Analyze the system’s efficiency and provide solutions to improve the overall design and performance.

1. Compliance & Regulations:

- Ensure designs comply with local and national standards (like IEC, NEC, and others), safety codes, and grid-connection requirements.

- Work with governmental agencies to secure permits and approvals for solar energy projects.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

- Prepare detailed design documentation, bill of materials (BOM), and project reports.

- Create technical documentation to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar systems.

1. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers,



and other teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly.

- Provide technical support during project execution and handle on-site modifications if needed.

1. Continuous Learning:

- Stay updated with the latest developments in solar technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

- Explore innovative solutions to enhance system design and performance.

Qualifications

:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, Arka360, and other design and simulation software.

- Knowledge of electrical systems and solar energy technologies.

- Understanding of grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid solar PV systems.

- Robust problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Total of 4 years of experience in design

- Min 2+ years of experience in solar PV system design.

- Experience in both roof & ground-mount solar projects.

- Familiarity with national and international solar energy standards and regulations.

Key Skills:

- Solar PV system design, AutoCAD, and electrical drawings

- Shading and energy analysis

- Knowledge of inverters, panels, and energy storage systems

- Regulatory and compliance experience
