Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integrations between

SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, SAP Fiori Cloud, Informatica Cloud, GXS/OpenText MFT, databases, and other on-premise/cloud applications using SAP CPI.

- Understand functional requirements, prepare technical/interface designs

, develop IFlows, perform testing, debugging, bug fixing, and documentation.

- Design and develop custom

CPI Integration Flows (IFlows)

as a hands-on individual contributor.

- Configure and manage

SAP Cloud Connector for connectivity between CPI and on-premise systems such as S/4HANA, databases, and mail servers.

- Develop integrations using CPI adapters including

OData, SFTP, FTP, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, REST, ProcessDirect, AMQP, JDBC, and XI Proxy

.

- Work with

SAP BTP Integration Suite – Cloud Integration, API Management, and Open Connectors

.

- Use

API Management/API Portal to consume and expose SAP S/4HANA standard and custom APIs.

- Discover and utilize standard integration content and develop custom integration flows based on business requirements.

- Implement data transformations such as

JSON-to-XML, CSV-to-XML

, and other message conversion techniques.

- Implement CPI integration patterns including

Splitter, Aggregator, Content Enricher, Message Transformation

, and related pallet options.

- Develop mappings using

Message Mapping, UDFs, XSLT

, and other mapping techniques.

- Develop and maintain

Groovy and Java scripts for custom integration requirements.

- Implement exception handling, error notifications, data persistence, retry mechanisms, and monitoring for integrations.





- Configure and manage security artifacts, encryption/decryption, authentication, and API application keys

.

- Support integrations involving

PI, CPI, EDI, ALE/IDoc, RFC/BAPI, and API-based technologies

.

- Perform both

CPI development and production/operations support activities.

- Transport CPI and APIM design objects across environments using

CTS+/TMS or equivalent transport mechanisms.

- Prepare technical/interface specifications and API documentation based on functional specifications and integration requirements.

Skills

- 8+ years of experience in SAP Integration / SAP CPI.

- Robust hands-on experience in

SAP BTP Integration Suite – Cloud Integration (CPI)

.

- Strong knowledge of

SAP API Management, API Portal, Business Hub, and Open Connectors

.

- Hands-on experience integrating

SAP S/4HANA with cloud and on-premise applications

.

- Strong knowledge of

SAP Cloud Connector and connectivity configuration.

- Expertise in CPI adapters

OData, SFTP, FTP, IDoc, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, REST, ProcessDirect, AMQP, JDBC, and XI Proxy

.

- Strong expertise in

Groovy and Java scripting

.

- Good knowledge of

XML, JSON, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and CSV

.

- Strong hands-on experience in

Message Mapping, UDFs, XSLT mapping, and data transformation

.

- Knowledge of

CPI integration patterns

, exception handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, and error handling.

- Experience with

API authentication, application keys, security artifacts, encryption, and decryption

.

- Knowledge of

PI/PO, EDI, ALE/IDoc, RFC/BAPI, and API-based integrations

.

- Experience with

CPI/APIM transports using CTS+ or TMS

.

- Strong documentation and technical design skills
