About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior QA / Test Engineer with 5 years of professional experience in testing web and mobile applications. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing Development and should be capable of independently designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test solutions.

The role involves working closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Test web applications across multiple browsers, operating systems, and devices.
- Perform comprehensive testing of Android and iOS applications.
- Conduct API testing and validate REST services, request/response data, authentication, and error handling.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-device, compatibility, usability, and interface testing.
- Validate application data and backend transactions using SQL.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate defects,



identify root causes, and validate fixes.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, test estimation, and release activities.
- Support UAT, pre-production validation, production verification, and post-release testing.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, QA processes, and testing standards.

Mandatory Skills &

Experience

- 5 years of professional experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing Development is mandatory.
- Strong experience in both web and mobile application testing.
- Solid experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for automation development.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automated functional, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
- Experience with API testing, database testing, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar test and defect management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Mobile Testing Experience
- Experience testing native, hybrid, or cross-platform mobile applications.




- Experience testing different Android and iOS versions, devices, screen sizes, and resolutions.
- Knowledge of mobile-specific functionality including push notifications, permissions, deep links, app installation and upgrades, offline functionality, and background services.
- Experience testing applications under different network conditions, including Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, and limited connectivity.

Automation & CI/CD
- Experience developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Page Object Model, data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid automation frameworks.
- Experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Appium and mobile automation is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of web and mobile security testing and OWASP principles.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments.
- Experience working on enterprise or regulated-domain applications.
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is an advantage.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a hands-on QA and Automation professional with strong technical expertise across web and mobile platforms. The candidate should be capable of independently owning testing activities, developing automation solutions, identifying quality risks, and contributing to continuous improvement in QA processes and standards.
