Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field from a reputed university, or an MCA.

Experience: 7+yrs

Basic Qualifications

- Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with global stakeholders effectively.
- Able to lead/manage a team of testing engineers and able to manage entire testing operations of the product.
- Able to design testing strategies and execute to perfection.
- An aptitude to learn digital tools and technologies.
- Excellent commitment to software manual testing.
- Certificate or experience in Automation testing is a huge plus.
- Strong critical thinking - ability to identify issues and bugs.
- Excellent written communication skills - ability to describe identified issues in a clear and concise manner.
- 3+ years of hands-on automation experience.
- 4+ years of software testing and quality engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and up-to-date JavaScript concepts.

Mandated & Preferred Skillsets:

Mobile Automation

Appium with TypeScript, Android and iOS testing, Mobile device and emulator execution

Testing & Quality

Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, Exploratory Testing, API Testing

DevOps & Tools

Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Allure Reports, Test Management Tools, Defect Tracking Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Manual Testing, Software Quality Assurance, Functional Testing, API Testing,



Mobile Testing, Website Testing, Test Case Execution, Usability Testing, Azure devops, bug tracking, bug reporting, regression testing.
- Should have experience in Automation testing, Testing suites with Python or Typescript.
- 4 to 5-year experience in software testing or leading a testing team in an advantage.
- 2 to 3-year experience in managing software testing team.
- 2+ years of experience in the chemical engineering field is a plus.
- Expertise in one of the following areas:
- Advanced use of tools like Excel
- Internet of Things applications
- Have a good understanding of the Appium and overall testing processes.
- Understand the business use cases and testing requirements.
- Review and understand the existing automation scripts.
- Start developing and delivering the required test cases and automation.
- Once the initial automation is in place, take up other testing areas such as performance testing, data validation, and related activities.
- We are looking for someone who can understand the existing setup independently and start contributing with minimal training or handholding.
