Key Responsibilities

- Handle purchase of raw materials, consumables, tools, spares and services as per requirements.

- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for price, quality and delivery.

- Obtain quotations, compare offers and prepare Purchase Orders (POs).

- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.

- Monitor purchase costs, stock levels and pending orders.

- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Finance and other departments for purchase requirements.

- Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database and support vendor evaluation.

- Ensure required materials are purchased as per approved specifications and quality standards.

- Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs and other procurement documents.

- Support cost reduction, alternate sourcing and continuous improvement in procurement.

Required Skills





- Valuable knowledge of purchase and vendor management.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.

- Ability to analyse quotations and commercial terms.

- Good follow-up, coordination and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in any relevant field; Supply Chain / Procurement preferred.

- Experience: 4–7 years in purchase/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
