Role PurposeThe Senior Manager Payroll will lead the end-to-end delivery of payroll operations for India JSW Group Entities. The incumbent will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while driving standardization, automation, governance, process excellence, and superior employee experience across multiple business entities.This is a strategic managerial role responsible for leading payroll operations, statutory compliance, stakeholder management, vendor governance, continuous improvement initiatives, and building a high-performing payroll team.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Operations

- Lead end-to-end payroll processing for multiple legal entities across India.

- Ensure 100% accurate and timely payroll processing.

- Manage monthly payroll calendars and payroll governance.

- Review payroll inputs including recent joiners, exits, promotions, transfers, incentives, bonuses, arrears, reimbursements, and recoveries.

- Ensure payroll accuracy through maker-checker controls.

- Drive payroll standardization across businesses.

Statutory ComplianceEnsure complete compliance with:

Required Qualifications

- MBA (HR/Finance) or Master's Degree

- B.Com / M.Com

- Additional qualification in Payroll, Taxation, Labour Laws, or Finance will be an advantage.

Experience

- 12+ years of Payroll experience.

- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role.

- Experience in Captive Shared Services / Shared Service Centre is mandatory.
