Position : Senior Merchandiser

We have Urgent opening for Merchandiser at Taloja midc, Navi Mumbai Location

Location: Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai

Experience: 5+ years in fashion merchandising or apparel production

Knowledge of textiles & garment construction

Strong excel & data skills and attention to detail

Nice to have: experience in knitted fabrics, loungewear, familiar with ERP systems

Salary = 6- 6.5LPA

Job Discription:-

Create Tech Packs for all styles (selling / non-selling) as per existing format in excel.

Plan assortment by category, size, colour

Manage the seasonal merchandise calendar ( # of styles to launch and when)

Ensure daily plan viz pickup/drop of samples etc. from market / job worker/ vendor & inform the same to Ops Asstn.

Quality check

Review pre-production & production samples for fit, fabric, stitching, colour fastness, trims





Run in line and final inspections of orders before dispatch according to AQL standards

Fabric tests (colour fastness, shrinkage, durability)

Verify specs, labels, packaging & care instructions against tech packs

Log defects & drive corrective actions & reinspection from suppliers

Analyse returns and customer complaints to spot recurring issues

Market research - trends, styles, cheaper vendors, job work options, new fabric options

Help develop current styles

Sampling of new styles, sizing, grading chart, shrinkage

Identify and develop a vendor base for: fabrics, trims, machines, job work etc.

Handover purchase/ co-ordination with Ops Asstn

Manage shopify & exhibition orders for production with master

Overseeing packing of orders & final quality check
