Role Description The Senior Merchandiser role is a full-time, on-site position based in Palghar.

The Senior

Merchandiser will manage end-to-end merchandising activities, including product development, sampling, pricing, order confirmation, and production follow-up for textile and apparel lines. This role involves coordinating with design, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to client specifications. Daily responsibilities include engaging with buyers and key accounts,



tracking orders, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing sales performance to inform future assortments.

The Senior

Merchandiser will also support marketing initiatives, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to improving processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Sales and Retail-related activities, including order management, assortment planning, and performance analysis.
- Exposure to Marketing within apparel or textiles, supporting product positioning and promotional initiatives.
- Experience in merchandising for textiles or apparel, including product development, costing, and production coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines, with solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfort with using spreadsheets, ERP or merchandising tools, and basic data analysis for decision-making.
- Knowledge of export documentation or international buyer requirements is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, Business, or a related field, with prior experience in a similar role.
