Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coder to join our healthcare operations team in Mysuru. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US healthcare coding standards and hands-on experience in reviewing medical documentation and assigning accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.

Key Responsibilities

- Review medical records, clinical documentation, diagnoses, and procedures for accurate coding.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on medical documentation.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable US healthcare coding guidelines.
- Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation and escalate queries when required.
- Maintain required accuracy, productivity, quality, and turnaround-time standards.
- Perform coding audits and quality checks as assigned.
- Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines, payer requirements, and industry standards.




- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve coding and documentation-related issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and data privacy requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Medical Coding.
- Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Hands-on experience with US healthcare/medical coding processes.
- Good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and healthcare documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet quality and productivity targets consistently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in the US night shift (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM).
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
