Experience: 15–25 years | CXO / Business Head level

We are looking for a senior banking/financial services professional to join a fast-growing Mumbai-based fintech and play a key role in building and scaling its Banking & Payments Business.

The role is suited for a commercially driven leader with strong industry relationships and experience in payments, transaction banking, digital banking, merchant acquiring, corporate payments, UPI/payment gateways, API banking or fintech partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and drive new business opportunities across banks, financial institutions, enterprises and fintechs.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with senior stakeholders across the banking and payments ecosystem.
- Drive revenue, transaction volumes and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute business opportunities across payments, transaction banking, merchant acquiring, corporate payments and digital banking.
- Work closely with senior management,



product and technology teams to develop commercially viable propositions.
- Take ownership of business outcomes, with potential revenue, transaction volume and/or P&L; responsibility.

Ideal Candidate:

- 15–25 years of relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services, Payments or closely related businesses.
- Solid relationships across banks, financial institutions, enterprises and the payments ecosystem.
- Proven experience in business development, commercial ownership, partnerships or revenue generation.
- Candidates with slightly lower experience may also be considered if they bring exceptional payments expertise and strong industry relationships.

Note: This is primarily a business, commercial and relationship-led leadership role, rather than an operations, compliance, technology, branch banking, lending or credit-focused position.
