We're Hiring | Senior Interior Designer

ROLE PURPOSE The Senior Interior Designer manages assigned residential customers from design commencement through design finalisation and Ready-for-Production (RFP). The role combines strong design judgement, customer management, commercial awareness and execution understanding to deliver functional, aesthetic and premium turnkey interiors that can be manufactured and installed accurately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Own assigned YTI customers from design kickoff to design sign-off and production-ready handover, under the overall leadership of the Design Manager.

· Understand customer lifestyle, functional requirements, aesthetic preferences and budget, and translate them into coherent design concepts.

· Develop space plans and detailed interior solutions covering modular kitchens, wardrobes, storage, living spaces, bedrooms and other residential requirements.

· Create and maintain accurate quotations, drawings, specifications and presentation material; ensure revisions are controlled and customer decisions are documented.

· Produce detailed, production-ready drawings and coordinate technical clarifications so designs are practical, installation-friendly and aligned with site conditions.

· Conduct or participate in site visits and incorporate verified measurements, civil/MEP constraints and execution feasibility into the design.

· Present design concepts, scope and pricing confidently, manage customer feedback constructively and help close design decisions within agreed timelines.

· Work closely with the Sales team.

· Coordinate with Estimation, Production, Operations and Installation teams for a clean RFP handover and timely resolution of design queries.





· Own monthly RFP and collection targets applicable to assigned customers, while protecting design quality and customer trust.

· Maintain high customer satisfaction, identify scope or budget risks early, and escalate material decisions or project risks to the Design Manager when required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

· Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Architecture, with 2-4 years of relevant residential interior design experience.

· Demonstrated exposure to premium or high-value residential projects and direct customer interactions.

· Strong fundamentals in space planning, modular furniture, detailing, finishes and execution processes.

· Hands-on site understanding, including measurement validation, installation feasibility and coordination with execution teams.

· Proficiency in SketchUp, Layout and AutoCAD; working knowledge of Enscape and/or V-Ray for visualisation.

· Ability to create accurate quotations and understand the commercial impact of design choices and scope changes.

· Solid verbal, written and presentation skills; fluency in English is mandatory and a local language is advantageous.

· Organised, customer-centric and target-aware, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without compromising detail.
