Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer with robust expertise in designing, developing and deploying enterprise integration solutions using REST APIs, Azure Cloud, API Management, event-driven architectures and messaging systems.

The role involves integrating internal applications with external vendor platforms across robotics, drones, Industrial IoT and AI/ML, including platforms such as Skydio and Boston Dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and reusable integration components.

Integrate enterprise applications with third-party/vendor APIs, including robotics, drone, Industrial IoT and AI/ML platforms.

Handle API authentication, authorization, throttling, pagination, retries, error handling and version management.

Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM) including products, subscriptions, access controls, versioning and lifecycle management.

Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys and Microsoft Entra ID.

Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs and Event Grid.

Implement queues, topics, subscriptions, dead-letter queues, retries, idempotency and duplicate-message handling.

Analyze vendor API documentation/SDKs and build adapters/connectors around vendor platforms.

Manage vendor API version changes and troubleshoot integration issues with external engineering/support teams.





Develop cloud-native microservices and integration services using Python, C#/.NET, Java or equivalent technologies.

Work with REST, JSON, HTTP, webhooks and asynchronous integration patterns.

Build containerized applications using Docker.

Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Monitor API/integration performance and provide production troubleshooting and support.

Must-Have Skills

8+ years in software integration, API development, cloud integration or enterprise application development.

Strong hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful/third-party APIs.

Hands-on expertise in Azure API Management.

Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues.

Experience with Azure Service Bus / Event Hubs or equivalent messaging technologies.

Strong programming skills in Python and C#/.NET.

Experience with API security and authentication mechanisms.

Cloud-native application development experience.

Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.

Preferred Skills

Skydio APIs/SDKs.

Boston Dynamics APIs/SDKs, including Spot/robot APIs.

Robotics, drone or Industrial IoT platforms.

Computer vision, edge computing or AI/ML platforms.

Docker, Kubernetes or AKS.

High-volume, real-time integrations.

Azure DevOps and CI/CD.

Infrastructure as Code.

Enterprise asset-management systems.

Domain Preference

Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, Utilities or Industrial IoT environments is preferred.
