NelsonHall has an opening for a senior industry analyst in HR technology & services.
This is an chance to engage with industry leaders and become a leading authority in your field. This includes advising leading HR services and platform vendors on their offerings and strategic developments and providing market intelligence to major enterprises regarding the appropriate use of HR services. Your coverage will include areas such as advantages administration (largely in the U.S.), recruitment process outsourcing, and workforce management technology.

Duties and responsibilities
Key responsibilities include
- The production of detailed HR services market analyses and vendor profiles across your areas of coverage
- The production of vendor positioning assets to support buyer evaluations of vendor capability
- Acting as a subject matter expert and demonstrating thought leadership, including feedback sessions, to NelsonHall clients
- Market forecasting.
Activities include
- Interviewing senior personnel within major HR service and platform providers to support the development of primary research
- Writing profiles and market analysis reports
- Assessing vendor capability and producing vendor positioning charts
- Attending industry and analyst events
- Assisting buy-side firms in identifying the art of the possible and suitable vendors
- Assisting vendor firms in their strategic development and providing executive feedback
- Tracking market news and announcements (including financials, M&A;, contract wins, new offerings)
- Developing social media presence and supporting the promotion of NelsonHall research and insights
- Updating the market forecast annually.
Please note this role involves analyzing the market for HR services on behalf of HR & Talent Transformation companies and their clients. It is not a business analyst role within HR functions or a solution architect role.
Qualifications
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to become the leading subject matter expert on the market within your areas of coverage is critical, as is a personable manner.
Would potentially suit individuals with:
- Significant experience in product management or strategic marketing within HR platform and services vendors
- Experience in senior operational roles within HR, either within a service provider or a major enterprise
- Experience in benefits administration and/or HR platforms
- Intellectual curiosity to learn and absorb relevant HR services domain knowledge
- A desire to become one of the leading subject matter experts on the market for next-generation approaches to HR services
- Strong and effective communication skills to facilitate building relationships across the market
- Experience of working with remote teams in a global environment.
