Role & responsibilities

- Manage and monitor bulk export-import shipments, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and timelines.
- Coordinate vessel operations, including nomination, suitability checks, ETA/ETD tracking, laytime preparation, and charter party review.
- Handle port operations, customs clearance, and logistics execution for bulk cargo movements.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including space planning, inventory management, rail/truck movements, loading/unloading, and loss calculations.
- Ensure quality and quantity control through coordination with surveyors, handling agents, and supervision agencies.
- Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), document scrutiny, negotiation, and presentation for timely payments.
- Prepare and verify shipping and trade documentation including Bills of Lading, invoices, certificates, and contractual notices.
- Coordinate with shippers, buyers, agents, overseas offices,



and internal stakeholders for seamless shipment execution.
- Handle GST compliance, insurance claims, and shipment-related dispute resolution.
- Track stock positions, shipment status, and potential delays; provide regular MIS and operational reports.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and shipment files while ensuring adherence to commercial and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in a large organization handling multiple commodities
