Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals, hands-on experience with backend development, databases, API development, and a positive understanding of software architecture and development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for web and mobile applications.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Design and optimize database structures, queries, stored procedures, and data models.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication systems, and other external services.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development guidelines.
- Work closely with frontend developers, QA teams, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical architecture decisions.
- Implement appropriate security measures, authentication, authorization, and data protection practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of backend applications.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential technical issues.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
- Participate in deployment,



release management, and production support activities.
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend technologies such as:
- Node.js / NestJS
- Java / Spring Boot
- Python / Django / FastAPI
- or other relevant backend frameworks.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and API integrations.
- Good hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, OOP, and software design principles.
- Experience with Git/version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth, and role-based access control.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments and basic deployment concepts.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or other caching/message-queue technologies.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment.
- Understanding of system design and high-availability applications.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in mentoring or leading a team of developers.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
