Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Associate US Accounting with 45 years of overall accounting experience who is interested in building a long-term career in US Accounting and Finance Operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in accounting concepts, good analytical skills, and a process-oriented approach. Prior US accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant exposure to US accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or similar processes will have an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for US-based clients.

Record and review accounting transactions, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Prepare and review schedules supporting financial statements and management reporting.

Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.

Follow established accounting processes, checklists, and SOPs. Identify reconciliation differences, accounting issues, and process gaps and work toward timely resolution.

Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders for accounting information and clarifications.

Support process documentation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

Gradually take ownership of assigned client accounting processes and deliverables.

Job Requirements:

CA Inter qualification. 4–5 years of overall experience in accounting, finance, audit, or related areas.

Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience/exposure in US accounting or similar accounting processes.





Candidates with strong Indian accounting experience who are keen to transition and build their career in US Accounting are also encouraged to apply.

Robust understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, including accrual accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger, AP, AR, and financial statements.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured, process-oriented environment. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand and follow SOPs, accounting policies, and internal controls.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working with Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Willingness to learn US GAAP, US accounting practices, and new accounting technologies.

Essential Skills

Exposure to accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Zoho Books, Bill.com, or similar systems would be an advantage.

Advanced Excel skills and experience working in a client-service or outsourced accounting environment will also be preferred.
