Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Global Accounting & Controlling Team and take ownership of core accounting activities supporting our entities in Germany, Spain, and Slovakia.

You will report to the Team Manager Accounting & Controlling, based in Europe, with a dotted-line relationship to the local Director Finance in India.

Your responsibilities include

- Own and deliver end-to-end month-end close activities for the assigned legal entities.
- Review, prepare, and post journal entries, including accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and other period-end postings.
- Manage the accounting treatment and settlement of internal contracts.
- Support and execute activities related to revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting requirements.
- Support R&D; asset creation and the appropriate capitalization and accounting treatment.
- Take responsibility for processing the finance-related aspects of customer deal approvals.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS internal accounting policies,



and internal control requirements.
- Work closely with regional and global Finance teams, Sales, and Service Management.
- Collaborate with the Global AP and AR Teams on accounting matters, reconciliations, and period-end deliverables.
- Support audits through the preparation of documentation, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting evidence.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen, standardize, and continuously improve accounting processes, controls, and ways of working.

Your Profile

What you bring

- At least seven years of professional experience in accounting, finance, audit, or a comparable field.
- Mandatory experience in an international, multi-country accounting environment.
- A completed relevant qualification, such as CA, ACCA, CPA, MBA Finance, M.Com, or an equivalent academic or professional background.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of IFRS and accounting close processes.
- Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a structured, detail-oriented approach to financial analysis and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet recurring deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a willingness to learn and continuously develop.
- The ability to work independently in a global matrix organization.
- A collaborative, proactive,



and solution-oriented mindset, with confidence in working across functions, countries, and seniority levels.

Ideally, you also have
- Knowledge of German local GAAP (HGB).
- Experience working with finance teams across European legal entities.
- Familiarity with process optimization, internal controls, and audit coordination.

Languages
- Fluent German, both written and spoken.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Your Working Model This is a full-time, permanent position, India, with a Remote working model

- As the role supports stakeholders and legal entities in Europe, you must be available for a minimum six-hour overlap with the German time zone, typically covering 09:00–15:00 German local time.
- Occasional business travel to Europe may be required, up to once per year.
