Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India /n Work Mode: On-site /n Department: Finance & Accounting /n /n About the Role /n Salute is looking for an experienced Senior EMEA Corporate Accountant to support EMEA controllership and corporate accounting across a multi-entity, multi-currency environment. /n The role will be responsible for core corporate accounting activities, including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly reporting, financial statement preparation and review, statutory audits, and tax/VAT compliance coordination. /n /n The position will primarily support entities across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, and Spain, while working closely with regional finance teams, Group Accounting, and external advisors. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n
- Lead and execute the month-end close process across EMEA entities, including maintaining and reviewing approximately 10–30 balance sheet reconciliations.
/n
- Support quarterly reporting, including consolidation inputs, variance analysis, and reporting deliverables.
/n
- Prepare and post accruals, recurring entries, reversing accruals, and other ledger adjustments, with approximately 20–100 journal entries per month.
/n
- Assist with the preparation and review of management and statutory financial statements in accordance with applicable local GAAP and group reporting standards.
/n
- Support statutory audits and annual compliance engagements, including preparing audit schedules and coordinating responses to auditor requests.
/n
- Work with third-party advisors on income tax and VAT preparation across EMEA jurisdictions.
/n
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and automation initiatives.
/n
- Partner with regional finance teams, Group Accounting, and external advisors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
/n
- Contribute to process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives across the EMEA controllership function.
/n /n /n Required Qualifications /n /n
- Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
/n
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within corporate accounting or controllership.
/n
- Experience working in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.
/n
- Robust knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
/n
- Experience supporting statutory audits and annual compliance activities.
/n
- Familiarity with income tax and VAT compliance across European jurisdictions.
/n
- Solid analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
/n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
/n
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
/n /n /n Preferred Qualifications /n /n
- Qualified qualification such as CA (ICAI), CMA (ICMAI), or ACCA, or actively pursuing one.
/n
- Experience working across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, particularly the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, and Spain.
/n
- Experience preparing statutory financial statements under local IFRS requirements.
/n
- Experience with modern ERP platforms such as Sage Intacct, SAP, or NetSuite.
/n
- Experience working in a high-growth or private-equity-backed organization.
