We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager / Accounts & Finance Manager to manage the complete accounting and finance functions of our construction & infrastructure company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Handle project-wise and site-wise accounting.
- Review and maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Verify contractor bills, RA Bills, vendor invoices and project expenses.
- Monitor project costs, site expenses, advances and settlements.
- Manage GST, TDS and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare GST/TDS workings, reconciliations and supporting documents.
- Handle bank reconciliation and monitor cash/bank transactions.
- Prepare MIS reports, project-wise financial reports, cash-flow statements and outstanding reports.
- Monitor vendor, contractor and customer outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with project/site teams for accounting and financial documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks and other external parties.
- Review monthly closing and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
- Support budgeting, cost control and financial planning.
- Supervise and guide junior accountants and site accounting teams.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com/M.Com).
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Candidates with construction/infrastructure/EPC/project accounting experience will be preferred.
- Robust knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Experience in RA Bill, contractor billing and project/site accounting.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting and finance activities.
