Position: Security Supervisor

Location: Manufacturing Plant ( Bhimadole, Denduluru, Hanuman Junction & Guntur)

Reporting To: Plant Head / HR & Admin Manager

Experience: 3–5 Years (Manufacturing Industry Preferred)

Qualification: Minimum SSC / Intermediate

1. Job Purpose

To ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, company assets, raw materials, finished goods and plant premises. The Security Supervisor is responsible for supervising security guards, monitoring entry and exit activities, and maintaining discipline and security procedures within the manufacturing plant.
1. Key Responsibilities

A. Security Operations

- Supervise security guards and ensure proper deployment at all designated security points.
- Monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, vehicles and contractors.
- Ensure that all visitors and contractors follow the company's security procedures.
- Conduct regular security rounds throughout the plant premises.
- Prevent unauthorized entry and protect company property and assets.
- Maintain discipline and ensure proper conduct among security personnel.

B. Material and Vehicle Monitoring

- Verify incoming and outgoing raw materials, finished goods and other materials against approved gate passes and relevant documents.
- Monitor vehicle movements and maintain accurate vehicle entry and exit registers.
- Coordinate with the Stores, Dispatch and Accounts Departments for material verification.
- Ensure that no company materials leave the premises without proper authorization.
- Monitor weighbridge activities, where applicable, and report any discrepancies.

C. Employee and Visitor Management

- Monitor employee entry and exit through designated security gates.
- Maintain visitor registers and issue visitor passes as per company policy.




- Verify contractor and temporary worker entry permissions.
- Coordinate with the HR Department regarding employee attendance, unauthorized absence and other security-related matters.
- Ensure that employees and visitors follow plant safety and security rules.

D. Plant Safety and Emergency Management

- Ensure that security guards are aware of fire safety procedures and emergency evacuation plans.
- Monitor safety compliance at security gates and report any violations.
- Coordinate with the Safety Department during fire accidents, emergencies and other incidents.
- Ensure that emergency gates and access routes remain clear.
- Immediately report theft, accidents, suspicious activities and security breaches to the Plant Head and HR Department.

E. Security Personnel Management

- Prepare daily duty rosters and assign duties to security guards.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality and performance of security personnel.
- Conduct regular briefings and provide instructions to security guards.
- Ensure that all security personnel wear uniforms and maintain proper discipline.
- Monitor security guards' shift handovers and ensure proper communication between shifts.
- Report manpower shortages and arrange replacements in coordination with the HR Department.

F. Reporting and Documentation

- Maintain daily security reports, gate registers, visitor registers and vehicle movement records.
- Prepare incident reports and submit them to the Plant Head and HR Department.




- Maintain records of material movements, security inspections and shift handovers.
- Submit daily security updates and report any unusual activities immediately.
- Ensure proper maintenance of CCTV monitoring records and report any camera malfunctions.

- Good supervisory and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of industrial security procedures.
- Ability to manage security guards and handle emergencies.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and register maintenance.
- Ability to coordinate with HR, Stores, Dispatch and Plant Operations.
- Alertness, discipline and integrity.

1. Preferred Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing plant security.
- Experience in supervising security guards in oil mills, feed mills, rice mills or other manufacturing plants will be preferred.
- Experience in vehicle monitoring, material gate passes and CCTV surveillance is desirable.

- Effective control of employee, visitor and vehicle entry and exit.
- Prevention of unauthorized material movement and security violations.
- Proper attendance and deployment of security guards.
- Timely reporting of security incidents.
- Accuracy and completeness of security registers and reports.
- Compliance with plant security procedures.
- Effective coordination with the Plant Head, HR and other departments.

1. Working Conditions

- Manufacturing plant environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Availability during emergencies and security incidents.
- Regular patrolling and monitoring of the entire plant premises.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
