Role Description The Scrum Master is a full-time remote role responsible for guiding one or more Agile teams in applying Scrum practices to deliver high-quality software solutions. Day-to-day activities include facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while removing impediments that block the team’s progress.

The role involves coaching team members on Agile principles, supporting the creation and refinement of user stories, and promoting continuous improvement in collaboration, delivery, and quality.

The Scrum

Master will partner with product owners, developers,



and stakeholders to ensure clear communication, effective backlog management, and alignment with business goals. This role also focuses on tracking team performance metrics, fostering a culture of transparency, and encouraging a sustainable pace of work.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sprint Planning and User Stories skills to support effective backlog refinement and iteration planning.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-informed improvements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to facilitate meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and encourage open collaboration.
- Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Software Development processes to effectively support technical teams in an Agile workplace.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in software or technology projects.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and support multiple stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
