About the Role

We are looking for a Hotel Marketing Executive who can help increase hotel bookings through market research, marketing strategies, guest engagement, and basic hotel operations support.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of hotel operations, local market trends, social media, and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular market research on hotels, competitors, room rates, offers, occupancy and customer demand in Puri.
- Identify opportunities and develop strategies to increase hotel bookings and revenue.
- Monitor competitor pricing, packages, promotions and online presence.
- Coordinate with the hotel front desk and assist with basic front-office activities when required.
- Maintain basic knowledge of hotel operations, room inventory, check-in/check-out and guest handling.
- Support the team in creating and promoting special offers, packages and seasonal campaigns.
- Have basic knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp for hotel promotion.
- Assist in managing the hotel's online presence and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding bookings, availability, pricing and guest requirements.
- Maintain regular reports on market activities,



competitor rates and booking performance.
- Build relationships with local businesses, travel agents and other potential booking sources when required.

Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel marketing, hotel operations, front office, sales or hospitality will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of hotel operations and reservation processes.
- Good knowledge of the Puri local hotel market will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of social media marketing and online promotions.
- Positive communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and develop practical marketing strategies.
- Comfortable working in a hotel environment and coordinating with different departments.
- Candidates who are proactive, target-oriented and willing to take responsibility are preferred.
