Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

ABOUT THE ROLE The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, engaging prospective members, conducting sales conversations, scheduling appointments, conducting club visits and converting qualified prospects into Anytime Fitness members.
The role begins before the club launch, where the Sales Executive will be responsible for building awareness, generating the initial prospect database and creating a strong pre-launch sales pipeline.
Once the club is operational, the Sales Executive will own the day-to-day membership sales journey, from the first interaction with a prospect through follow-up, club visit, consultation, membership conversion and handover to the club's member experience team.
The Sales Executive is expected to achieve assigned sales targets while ensuring that every prospect receives a professional, transparent and positive experience, irrespective of whether they ultimately purchase a membership.
PART I – PRE-LAUNCH RESPONSIBILITIES
BEFORE THE GYM / CLUB LAUNCH The pre-launch phase is focused on building the pipeline, generating awareness and creating a strong base of prospective members before the club opens.
1. Lead Generation
- Generate prospective member leads through:
- Cold calling
- Database calling
- References and referrals
- Local networking
- Corporate outreach
- Residential community outreach
- Events and activations
- Digital enquiries
- Walk-ins / enquiries
- Local business development
- Build and continuously expand the prospect database for the club.
2. Cold Calling
- Make a high volume of quality outbound calls to prospective customers.
- Introduce the Anytime Fitness brand and the upcoming club.
- Understand the prospect's fitness goals, requirements and expectations.
- Identify qualified prospects and move them towards an appointment or club visit.
- Maintain professional calling etiquette at all times.
- Follow up systematically with prospects who show interest.
3. Pre-Launch Sales Conversations
- Explain the club concept, facilities, membership options and perks accurately.
- Communicate pre-launch offers and commercial terms clearly.
- Avoid making misleading or exaggerated claims.
- Create urgency where appropriate without using high-pressure or deceptive sales tactics.
- Build trust and rapport with prospective members.
4. Appointment Generation
- Convert telephone and other enquiries into:
- Club visits
- Sales appointments
- Consultations
- Pre-launch registration opportunities
- Maintain an active appointment pipeline.
- Confirm appointments and conduct appropriate reminders.
5. Local Area Business Development
- Identify potential corporate and community partnerships.
- Approach local businesses, residential communities and organisations.
- Generate corporate and group membership opportunities.
- Participate in local marketing and promotional activities.
6. Prospect Database & CRM Management
- Record all prospect interactions accurately.
- Maintain complete and updated lead information.
- Record calls, conversations, appointments, follow-ups and outcomes.
- Ensure no qualified lead is left without an appropriate next action.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
7. Pre-Launch Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Sales Manager/H2I on:
- Lead-generation strategy
- Calling campaigns
- Local marketing activities
- Sales scripts
- Follow-up systems
- Pre-launch events
- Prospect feedback
- Share common objections and customer feedback with management to improve the sales approach.
PART II – POST-LAUNCH RESPONSIBILITIES ONCE THE GYM / CLUB IS LAUNCHED
Once the club is operational, the Sales Executive becomes responsible for managing the prospect-to-member sales journey.
1. Lead Management
- Respond promptly to new enquiries.
- Contact and qualify leads.
- Understand prospect requirements and fitness goals.
- Categorise and prioritise leads appropriately.
- Maintain consistent follow-up until the lead reaches a clear outcome.
2. Inbound & Outbound Sales
- Handle enquiries received through:
- Phone
- Digital channels
- Walk-ins
- Referrals
- Marketing campaigns
- Existing members
- Corporate enquiries
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to generate appointments and sales.
- Maintain a healthy balance between new lead generation and follow-up.
3. Club Visits
- Conduct professional club tours for prospective members.
- Understand what the prospect is looking for before presenting the club.
- Explain relevant facilities, services and membership benefits.
- Introduce prospects to the appropriate team members where required.
- Ensure every club visit provides a professional and welcoming experience.
4. Consultative Selling
- Sell based on the prospect's requirements rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
- Understand:
- Fitness goals
- Lifestyle
- Previous gym experience
- Training preferences
- Time availability
- Recommend the membership option that appropriately meets the prospect's needs.
- Explain pricing, tenure, inclusions and terms transparently.
5. Membership Conversion
- Convert qualified prospects into members.
- Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiations.
- Handle objections professionally.
- Follow up with prospects after visits and consultations.
- Complete membership documentation accurately.
- Ensure the prospect understands what they are purchasing before payment.
6. New Member Handover
- Ensure every new member receives a smooth transition from Sales to the club's member experience team.
- Collect and communicate relevant member information to the MXM/Fitness Team.
- Ensure the member is introduced to the next stage of their fitness journey.
- Ensure new members understand the Anytime Fitness App and relevant club processes.
- Ensure 100% of current members are appropriately scheduled for their Fitness Consultation, in coordination with the MXM/Fitness Team.
7. Follow-Up & Pipeline Management
- Maintain systematic follow-ups with:
- New leads
- Club visitors
- Unconverted prospects
- Pending prospects
- Referral leads
- Corporate prospects
- Never allow a qualified prospect to become inactive due to lack of follow-up.
- Maintain accurate pipeline stages and next-action dates.
8. Referral & Relationship Building
- Develop strong relationships with existing members.
- Generate referrals through excellent service and relationship building.
- Identify opportunities for member-led introductions and referrals.
- Maintain a professional relationship with prospects even when they do not immediately purchase.
