About the Business
We are developing an international export business focused on LED lighting and electrical products, including products such as:
- LED Flood Lights
- Industrial & Outdoor LED Lighting
- Other electrical lighting products
- Products falling under HSN 9405 and related electrical/lighting classifications
We are looking for a hands-on Export Documentation & Operations Expert who can independently manage the complete export documentation process and coordinate with manufacturers, freight forwarders/CHAs, shipping lines, banks and overseas buyers.
This is a practical execution role, not a theoretical documentation position.
Key Responsibilities The selected person will be responsible for:
- Shipping Bill
- ICEGATE-related coordination
- Bill of Lading / AWB
- Certificate of Origin
- Freight forwarder / CHA coordination
- LEO and shipment documentation
- Verification of all documents before shipment
3. Banking & Export Realisation
- Coordination with banks for export documentation
- Post-shipment document submission
- Understanding of payment terms
- L/C documentation, wherever applicable
- Discrepancy identification and resolution
- Payment follow-up
- e-BRC / export-realisation related follow-up
4. Manufacturer & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with manufacturers located across India
- Obtain and verify required documents
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and CHAs
- Ensure Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill,
BL/AWB and buyer requirements are consistent
- Maintain proper document versions and records
5. International Buyer Documentation
- Understand buyer-specific documentation requirements
- Prepare shipment-wise document checklists
- Ensure compliance with agreed Incoterms and payment terms
- Coordinate documentation required by overseas buyers/importers
Mandatory Experience
✔ 3–6+ years of practical export documentation experience
✔ Hands-on experience in engineering/electrical/electronic/lighting product exports
✔ Experience with products such as LED lights, flood lights, electrical equipment, lighting fittings or similar engineering products will be strongly preferred
Kolkata-based candidates are strongly preferred, particularly those who can coordinate with banks and the company's Kolkata operations while dealing remotely with manufacturers located elsewhere in India.

❌ Sales/marketing-only profiles are not suitable.
We are looking for someone who has actually handled export shipments and documentation from start to finish.
Nature of Engagement
Full-time / Part-time / Retainer / Long-term association may be considered depending on experience and capability.
The person will initially work as the core export documentation and operations support for our international LED/electrical products business, with the opportunity for greater responsibility as export volumes increase.
