We at Revanta Hospital stands today at a 30-bed multispecialty hospital in Chennai – ECR, We aim to provide comprehensive Care for Diabetes as a center of excellence (diabetic foot care and management) of Diabetic complications involving cardiac, kidney, neurologic and ophthalmic specialist with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Qualification & Experience
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (Mandatory)
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration
- 1–4 years of clinical nursing experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Operation Theatre (OT).
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation
Job Summary The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering protected, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, quality standards, and NABH requirements. The role requires nurses who are confident in handling emergency situations, critical patients, OT procedures, and acute care environments, depending on their area of deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per clinical protocols and hospital standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by consultants.
- Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, and clinical progress.
- Provide timely nursing care during emergencies and escalate critical conditions appropriately.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, emergencies, and resuscitation.
- For OT-assigned nurses: assist in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care and maintain OT protocols.
- For ICU-assigned nurses: monitor critically ill patients, identify changes in patient condition, and provide care as per ICU protocols.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, medication charts, clinical notes, and patient documentation.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, medication safety, and NABH standards.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication, procedures, and discharge care.
- Coordinate with doctors, Nursing Superintendent, and allied healthcare teams for continuity of care.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, readiness, and availability of nursing equipment and supplies.
- Participate in departmental training, competency assessments, quality initiatives, and continuous learning.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs, escalation protocols, and professional nursing standards.
