Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Refrigeration Systems Engineer to support the development, testing, validation, and optimization of commercial refrigeration systems. This role involves hands-on experimentation, performance testing, refrigeration system analysis, controls integration, and product benchmarking activities. Through testing and analysis, the engineer will contribute towards improving the product performance, reliability, cost competitiveness and energy efficiency.

Key responsibility

· Analyse, test and optimize refrigeration system through cycle analysis, compressor, heat exchangers, and refrigerant performance evaluation.

· Evaluate and benchmark system performance against design targets and industry standards.





· Develop and execute test plans and validation procedures, and performance evaluation protocols. Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to assess refrigeration system performance.

· Develop technical specifications and engineering documentation.

· Perform thermal engineering calculations and refrigeration system performance assessments.

· Contribute to development of control strategies and related automation systems for high-performance refrigeration systems.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

· 0-2 years of working experience in refrigeration, HVAC or thermal systems engineering.

· Hands-on experience in laboratory testing and troubleshooting of commercial refrigeration systems.

· Experience in refrigeration system development, testing and performance analysis is desirable.

· Proficiency in refrigeration cycle analysis, cycle plotting, compressor and heat exchanger performance evalutation is strongly required.

· Experience with data acquisition systems and thermal/refrigeration system data analysis.

· Refrigeration simulation and calculation software proficiency.

· Solid analytical and problem solving skills with basic programming knowledge (LabVIEW, Matlab or similar) is desirable.

· Deep understanding of vapor compression refrigeration cycle, thermodynamics, heat transfer, refrigeration system component selection, heat exchanger evaluation, and psychrometrics.
