Role Description The Quantity Surveyor will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, supporting projects from initial estimation through completion. This role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), conducting detailed cost analysis, and monitoring project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.

The Quantity

Surveyor will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to validate quantities, evaluate contractor claims, and track variations. Daily responsibilities include updating cost reports, assisting in tender preparation and evaluation, and providing accurate financial forecasts and cash flow projections.



The role also includes ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations while maintaining clear documentation and reports for all assigned projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and support financial decision-making.
- Candidates should possess experience in BOQ preparation and Cost Planning to prepare accurate quantities, estimates, and project cost forecasts.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Cost Reporting to produce clear, timely financial reports, track variances, and support project reviews.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with quantity surveying and costing software, spreadsheets, and standard office tools.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional project teams.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, local building regulations, and industry standards is an advantage.
