To ensure the quality of sheet metal and fabricated components by conducting in-process and final inspections, with solid knowledge of TIG/MIG welding, laser cutting, and bending processes, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished components as per drawings and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Measuring Tape, etc.
- Inspect TIG & MIG welding quality, including weld appearance, undercut, porosity, cracks, and other defects.
- Knowledge of sheet metal bending processes and inspection of bend angle, dimensions, and profile.
- Inspect components manufactured through laser cutting and verify dimensions, cut quality, and edge condition.
- Identify and report quality defects, rejections, and deviations.




- Ensure products comply with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for corrective actions.
- Support 5S, Kaizen, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication / Heavy Fabrication preferred.
- Good knowledge of TIG & MIG welding inspection.
- Knowledge of laser cutting and bending processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and basic quality tools.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
