Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Microbiologist role based at the Bavla facility. The role involves performing routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.

The Quality Control

Microbiologist will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, prepare culture media, perform microbial identification, and document all test results accurately in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities include supporting validation activities, investigating out-of-specification and deviation results, and collaborating with production and quality assurance teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.



The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, participation in audits, and contribution to continuous improvement of laboratory methods and quality systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Quality Control skills, including knowledge of GMP, regulatory standards, and documentation practices.
- Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills, including sample handling, aseptic techniques, and routine microbiological procedures.
- Candidates should possess sound Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, troubleshooting issues, and supporting investigations.
- Candidates should possess foundational Microbiology knowledge, including microbial enumeration, identification, and contamination control.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in handling and maintaining Laboratory Equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, laminar airflow units, and microscopes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related life science discipline.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing, particularly in a quality control or microbiology laboratory, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, data integrity mindset, and ability to follow written procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bavla and comply with all safety and hygiene standards.

1-4 Years’ Experience: You need one to three years of hands-on work history in a similar role. Salary Breakdown (Per Annum) - 3 - 5 LPA CTC
