Position: Manager/Sr. Manager - Purchase

Location: Doddaballapur Industrial Area, Bangalore Rural

Working: 6 days

Reporting to Managing Director

Qualification and Experience level:

B.E preferably Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Production, Industrial engineering, Electronics engineering & related specialization.

Certification in Supply Chain Management/CIPS is an added advantage.

10-12 years of experience insourcing, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management, mandatorily in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.

At least 5+ years of managerial experience.

Skills & Knowledge:

- Solid understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 requirements related to procurement and supplier management.
- Experience in Supplier Quality Management, Vendor Audits, and Supplier Performance Evaluation.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), MRP, and material planning processes.
- Familiarity with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, and Environmental Compliance requirements.
- Understanding of Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Logistics Coordination, and Warehouse Operations.
- Experience in implementing Cost Reduction, Strategic Sourcing, Lean Supply Chain, and Risk Management practices.




- Knowledge of supplier corrective action processes, quality management systems, and global sourcing practices.
- Ability to analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and supplier performance for effective decision-making.
- SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities / Critical tasks Manage supplier selection, vendor development, and contract negotiations.

Ensure timely procurement of materials to support production requirements.

Drive cost optimization and inventory management initiatives.

Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams.

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through alternate sourcing strategies.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry standards.

Lead supplier development and establish long-term strategic partnerships.

Monitor inventory levels and improve material availability while minimizing excess stock.
