Role Description The Purchase Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Hilton Garden Inn Goa Calangute in Goa, India. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

The Purchase

Executive monitors inventory levels, processes purchase orders, verifies invoices against deliveries, and coordinates with departments such as kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance to understand their requirements.



This position ensures compliance with brand standards and local regulations, maintains accurate procurement records, supports cost-control initiatives, and fosters strong vendor relationships to maintain consistent quality and availability of supplies.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in procurement processes, vendor management, and basic contract negotiation.
- Ability to manage inventory levels, track purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost comparison, budgeting support, and expenditure tracking.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with purchasing or ERP software used in hospitality operations.
- Relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in hotels or hospitality, with understanding of food and beverage and housekeeping supply requirements.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, handle multiple priorities, adhere to timelines, and follow Hilton policies and ethical standards.
