Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase / Estimation Engineer to handle material estimation, vendor coordination, procurement activities, quotation comparison, and cost analysis for electrical and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare BOQ, material take-off, and cost estimates based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Study electrical drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify material requirements.
- Source materials and obtain quotations from suppliers and vendors.
- Prepare comparative statements and evaluate vendor quotations based on price, quality, delivery, and payment terms.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms with vendors to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs)



and follow up for timely material delivery.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Store, and Accounts teams for procurement requirements.
- Maintain vendor database and develop relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Track material prices, lead times, availability, and market trends.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and project requirements.
- Maintain proper purchase, quotation, estimation, and vendor documentation.
- Support project teams in resolving material-related technical and commercial queries.
- Ensure procurement activities are completed within project budget and timelines.

- Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase, estimation, procurement, or electrical project work.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and specifications.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and BOQs.
- Robust Excel and MS Office skills.
- Valuable negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and cost-comparison skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/procurement software will be an added advantage.

Local candidates from Vadodara / nearby areas will be preferred. Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice will be an added advantage.
