Role Description The Purchase Engineer role at VAN LOGIX is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including evaluating requirements, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials and components.

The Purchase

Engineer will track inventory levels, assist in purchase planning, and optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. Daily tasks include analyzing quotations, negotiating terms, monitoring vendor performance, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to align purchasing decisions with project needs.



The role also involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, supporting audits, and continuously improving purchasing processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchase Management to handle end-to-end procurement activities effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid abilities in Purchase Planning and managing Purchase Orders to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to compare quotations, optimize costs, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing environments, preferably in automotive, medical devices, or industrial wiring harnesses.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, with familiarity in basic electrical components and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or procurement software, with attention to detail and accurate documentation practices.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
