Role Description Public Health Camp Coordinator at Healium Camps support the end-to-end delivery of community health screening camps, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality participant experience. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves coordinating camp logistics, managing registration and participant flow, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the implementation of standardized screening protocols.
The role includes working closely with camp admins, medical staff, technicians, and field teams, monitoring data capture on the camp management system,
and escalating operational or clinical issues to supervisors. Camp Admins help with community engagement and basic health communication, assist in collating camp metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of camp processes. The position requires flexibility to visit & work at various camp sites, adherence to public health and safety guidelines, and a strong customer-service mindset.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Community Health and Public Health, with an understanding of primary care and health camp environments.
- Environmental Health awareness to support safe, hygienic, and compliant camp operations.
- Analytical Skills to review camp data, identify patterns in health outcomes, and support basic reporting and decision-making.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with beneficiaries, healthcare teams, partners, and local stakeholders in a clear and respectful manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare management, social work, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience in community outreach, health programs, or field operations is preferred.
- Comfort with digital tools and data entry systems; ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
- Solid organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work in fast-paced, field-based settings.
- Language proficiency in English and local Indian languages relevant to Indian communities is essential.
