We're Hiring: Professor – Genetics, Plant Breeding / Crop Improvement

We are looking for an accomplished academician and researcher who can contribute to:

? Teaching & Academic Leadership: Delivering high-quality teaching and providing academic leadership in Genetics, Plant Breeding, and Crop Improvement.

? Research: Leading and contributing to impactful research in plant genetics, crop breeding, genetic diversity, germplasm evaluation, crop improvement, and development of improved crop varieties.

? ? Mentoring: Guiding postgraduate/doctoral students in research, academic projects, fieldwork, and professional development.

? Research & Extension:



Leading field experiments, breeding programmes, crop evaluation, germplasm characterization, and extension activities.

? Academic Development: Contributing to curriculum development, academic planning, research collaborations, publications, and institutional initiatives.

Eligibility

✅ Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding / Crop Improvement

✅ Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding / Crop Improvement

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture

✅ Minimum 12 years of teaching/research experience in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/Industry, with experience in a relevant discipline

✅ A strong record of research publications in reputed, peer-reviewed journals

✅ Demonstrated research leadership, academic contributions, and experience in guiding research scholars

✅ Experience in crop improvement, plant breeding, genetic research, or related field-based research will be preferred
