Role Description This is a full-time, in office Production Management role based in Delhi, India.

The Production

Manager will oversee daily shop-floor activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring production to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, supply chain, and safety to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime. The role involves tracking production metrics, implementing process improvements, managing resources and workforce allocation, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support audits, and help optimize throughput and inventory levels.

Qualifications

- Strong production planning, scheduling, and workflow management skills; ability to coordinate multiple lines or processes efficiently.
- Knowledge of forging or metals manufacturing processes, with understanding of industrial equipment, tooling, and shop-floor operations.
- Experience with quality control practices, including use of production KPIs, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Proficiency in using ERP or manufacturing execution systems (MES) and basic data analysis tools for monitoring performance.
- Solid people management skills, including team leadership, shift management, and effective communication across levels.
- Commitment to workplace safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance within an industrial setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with a hands-on approach, problem-solving mindset, and focus on continuous improvement.
