Role Description The Program Advisor for UG/PG degree courses is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.

The Program

Advisor will guide prospective students in selecting suitable undergraduate and postgraduate online and distance degree programs, aligning academic options with their career goals and background. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations via phone, in-person meetings, and digital channels; explaining university accreditation, eligibility criteria, fees, and curricula; and helping students compare programs across approved institutions. The advisor will maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow up with inquiries,



and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth admissions and onboarding. The role also involves providing clear, honest information, addressing student concerns, and supporting outreach initiatives to increase awareness of quality degree options.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, including the ability to understand student needs, clarify options, and make tailored program recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in handling phone calls, in-person discussions, and digital communication in clear, professional English and Hindi.
- Positive knowledge of higher education systems in India, particularly UGC- and NAAC-approved online and distance programs, and an ability to interpret eligibility criteria, fee structures, and course curricula.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including maintaining accurate records, managing multiple student cases, and using CRM or similar tools efficiently.
- Customer service orientation, with a commitment to ethical guidance, transparency, and building long-term trust rather than short-term sales.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and platforms such as email, spreadsheets, video calling applications, and online information resources.
- Relevant qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education counseling, career guidance, or admissions is an advantage.
- Prior experience in student counseling, academic advising, or education sales within the higher education or edtech sector is preferred.
