Role Description This is a full time, on-site Production Management role based in Chennai.

The Production

Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, and cost targets.

Responsibilities include planning and allocating resources, monitoring workflow, coordinating with procurement and maintenance teams, and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime. The role involves tracking production metrics, implementing process improvements, enforcing safety and compliance standards,



and supporting the training and guidance of production staff.

The Production

Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement, inventory control, and timely delivery to customers.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow management, and shop-floor coordination.
- Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Understanding of quality control practices, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in manufacturing.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as procurement, maintenance, and logistics.
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and develop production staff.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for reporting, documentation, and team collaboration.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and familiarity with production or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field; relevant experience in manufacturing or plant operations is highly desirable.
