- Inspect Materials: Check incoming raw goods and components against blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Monitor Production: Perform in-process quality checks (IPQC) using measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Handle Non-Conformances: Isolate defective items, document failures via Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and stop production lines when critical safety or quality limits are breached.
- Record Data: Log test results, defect rates, and pass/fail metrics into quality databases and daily production logs.
