Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Product Manager at Plugin Record.

The Product

Manager will define product vision and roadmap for music creators and listeners, translating user needs and business goals into clear product requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing user feedback, conducting market and competitor research, and collaborating with design, engineering, and marketing to ship features on time. The role involves creating and maintaining product backlogs, writing user stories, coordinating sprints,



and tracking product performance using data and metrics.

The Product

Manager will also align stakeholders, support go-to-market activities, and continuously iterate on the product experience to better serve independent musicians across the globe.

Qualifications

- Product management skills, including roadmap ownership, backlog management, and user story creation.
- Experience in user research, data analysis, and translating insights into product decisions.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and marketing teams in a remote workplace.
- Ability to define and track KPIs, measure feature impact, and make data-informed tradeoffs.
- Background or strong interest in music, creator platforms, or consumer-facing digital products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear, structured documentation and stakeholder communication.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Design, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with agile methodologies, product analytics tools, and experimentation (A/B testing) is a plus.
