Role Description The Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at the Rajkot manufacturing unit. This role is responsible for identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing requests for quotation (RFQ), and preparing and processing purchase orders in alignment with project requirements and company standards.

The Procurement

Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, production,



and quality teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment, cost-effective sourcing, and adherence to technical specifications. Daily activities include analyzing bids and cost data, maintaining supplier records, negotiating commercial terms under guidance, and monitoring supplier performance. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes, supporting compliance with ISO standards, and helping optimize the supply chain for water treatment and beverage project equipment.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage core procurement activities, including Supplier Evaluation and handling Purchase Orders.
- Robust Analytical Skills to compare quotations, assess total cost of ownership, and support data-driven decisions.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, including preparation, issuance, and follow-up.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment, water treatment systems, or beverage production machinery is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement software and basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
- Ability to work on-site in Rajkot, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
