B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry) graduates with B.Ed must apply.

Role Description The Primary Teacher – Chemistry will design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that introduce foundational concepts in chemistry to primary learners. This full-time, on-site role in Barrackpur-II involves planning and implementing curriculum-aligned activities, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support each learner’s academic and personal growth. The teacher will create a safe, inclusive classroom environment, use diverse teaching strategies and basic experiments to spark curiosity, and integrate technology and visual aids where appropriate.

Regular responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, maintaining records, participating in school events, collaborating with colleagues and parents or guardians, and supporting the school’s ethos of holistic education.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong skills in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience engaging young learners in science concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in Curriculum Development and Education, including planning structured, age-appropriate chemistry lessons and assessments.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and interact constructively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Chemistry, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Prior classroom teaching experience at the primary level, preferably in science or chemistry.
- Ability to create an inclusive, student-centered learning workplace that supports diverse learning needs.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a commitment to child safeguarding and school policies.
- Comfort with basic educational technology and digital resources to enhance classroom instruction.
