About the Role
SGI School, Kolhapur, is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Primary English Teacher to join our academic team immediately. The ideal candidate will foster strong foundational English language and literacy skills in young learners while creating an engaging, interactive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, student-centered English language and literature lessons for primary grades.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs.
- Implement modern teaching methodologies to enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Active participation in school events, co-curricular activities, and staff meetings.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Literature/Linguistics, alongside a B.Ed. or relevant teaching certification.
- Experience: Proven teaching experience in a reputable school is essential.
- Curriculum Preference: Prior experience teaching the Cambridge Primary curriculum is strongly preferred.
- Relocation: Must be ready to relocate to Kolhapur immediately.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
