Production Planning

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders and dispatch requirements.

- Prepare machine-wise, section-wise and process-wise production schedules.

- Plan production according to available machine capacity, manpower and material availability.

- Prioritize urgent and customer-specific orders.

Production

Control

- Monitor actual production against the planned production quantity.

- Follow up with Production Supervisors/Section In-charges for daily production targets.

- Identify production delays, machine breakdowns, manpower shortages and other constraints.

- Revise production plans whenever required based on production conditions and customer priorities.

3. Machine &

- Capacity Planning

- Prepare machine loading plans for CNC, Traub, Press Shop and other manufacturing sections.

- Monitor machine capacity and utilization.

- Coordinate with Maintenance regarding machine breakdowns affecting production schedules.

- Avoid machine idle time and production bottlenecks through proper planning.

4.

Material

Planning &

- Coordination

- Check availability of raw materials, components and consumables before releasing production plans.

- Coordinate with Stores and Purchase for timely availability of materials.

- Identify material shortages and follow up for immediate action.

- Ensure production plans are prepared considering material availability.

5. WIP &

- Process Control

- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) at different manufacturing stages.

- Track movement of components from one process/section to another.

- Follow up on pending jobs and ensure smooth movement of material between sections.

- Identify bottlenecks and take timely corrective action with concerned departments.

Coordination with Other Departments

- Coordinate closely with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch.

- Communicate production priorities and changes in production schedules to concerned departments.

- Follow up for quality clearance of production lots wherever required.

- Coordinate with Dispatch for completion of planned orders as per dispatch schedules.

Daily Production

Monitoring &

- MIS

- Prepare Daily Production Plan vs.

Actual

Production reports.

- Maintain pending order/job status and production tracking sheets.

- Prepare machine-wise and section-wise production reports.

- Monitor production achievement and highlight major deviations to management.

- Maintain PPC records in ERP/MIS and Excel.

8. ERP &

- Documentation

- Update production planning and production status in the ERP system.

- Maintain production orders, job cards/work orders and relevant PPC records.

- Ensure production data is updated accurately and on time.

- Coordinate with concerned departments for data accuracy.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.

- Knowledge of CNC, Traub, Press Shop and machining processes will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel including production reports and planning sheets.

- Knowledge of ERP systems and production modules.

- Good follow-up and coordination skills.

- Ability to analyze production data and identify delays/bottlenecks.

- Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under production pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
