We’re looking for a strong, hands-on Power BI Developer who can build scalable, production-grade BI solutions - not just dashboards.
The role will involve data modelling, DAX, Power Query, deployment, version control and PBIP-based development.
What you’ll work on
- Build robust Power BI semantic models, dashboards and reporting solutions
- Design efficient star schemas, relationships and data models, with robust focus on performance
- Write advanced DAX and build transformations using Power Query / M
- Work with PBIP, Git / GitHub for source-controlled development and collaboration
- Connect with SQL databases, APIs and other structured data sources
- Manage Dev / Test / Production deployment, refreshes and troubleshooting
- Build reusable standards and frameworks for scalable Power BI development
Must-have
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI
- Advanced DAX,
data modelling and Power Query / M
- Strong SQL
- Experience with PBIP and Git / GitHub
- Robust understanding of Power BI Service, publishing and refresh
Valuable to have
- Microsoft Fabric and deployment pipelines / CI-CD
- Tabular Editor / DAX Studio
- Azure SQL / BigQuery / cloud data warehouses
- APIs / JSON
- Row-level security, governance and large-model optimization
